Have you ever paid cash for something that only costs a couple bucks only to realize the smallest bill you have to pay for it is a $20 bill? Whenever this happens to me, I always do this little routine where I act like I’ve looked everywhere else in my wallet and then give the store clerk this apologetic shoulder shrug as I hand over the $20.
Money is money, right? Why do I feel like it’s such a burden for them to break my 20?
